Remote Learning

Remote education will only ever be considered as a short-term measure and as a last resort where in person attendance is not possible.

In the event of school closure, students will need to check their Microsoft Teams Calendar for links to ‘live’ lessons and instructions from staff.

If the school had to close because of snow/ unsafe conditions on site there would be a notification on the school website by 7am. Priority 1 parents/carers would also receive a text message from the school.

Learning in this instance would continue ‘live’ through Microsoft Teams and or the learning platform. All students have been shown how to access Teams and their school calendar in their computing lessons and we will continue to refresh students knowledge of this through the winter months.

A step-by-step guide for students and parents can be found below. This guide also includes how we expect students to conduct themselves during live lessons.
