We pride ourselves on providing nutritious meal options for students and we deliver our catering service in partnership with Cucina, a chef-led business, where food is made on site and from scratch.
Students have the opportunity to purchase food at break and lunch time. In addition, from 14th September, a breakfast club will run every morning from 7.45am with an option of free porridge for all students.
A variety of healthy foods, including Halal options, are available; please see the current menu offer and tariff below. In addition to the tariff, we offer a Meal Deal for £2.70 which includes any main meal and dessert. We recommend that parents encourage students to take the Meal Deal as it is the most cost effective choice and offers excellent value for money.
We use biometric (fingerprint) technology to pay for purchases in the school restaurant, which helps to speed up service and reduces queuing. This cashless system is linked to ParentPay, the school’s online payment service. We ask that parents monitor their ParentPay account to ensure there are sufficient funds to purchase each day’s items, and encourage their child to budget sensibly and consider the cost of their meal choices. Parents can view their child’s menu choices via their ParentPay account.
Where a student qualifies for a free school meal their account will be automatically credited each day with the standard free school meal amount. Parents may add additional funds to their child’s account, for example, to make purchases at breakfast or break time. For more details about free school meals please contact:
