This section of our website is where students and parents/carers can find revision resources for each of the KS4 subjects. Under the drop down menus you will find revision lists and links to specific revision resources which will support you in revising for the upcoming assessments.

Students are currently working towards completing their preparatory work for their GCSE Art & Photography project.

  • Ensure all development work is complete, including:

Ideas – initial concepts, themes, and starting points for the project
Research – investigation into artists, photographers, styles, and sources of inspiration
Experimentation – trying different techniques, materials, and processes to develop work
A clear plan for their final outcome – a well-thought-out intention for what the final piece will be and how it will be created

  • The final exam is a 5-hour practical assessment in a specialised art room under exam conditions
  • During this time, they will produce a final outcome based on their project
  • After-school support sessions are available for additional time, guidance, or help completing their work
  • It is essential that students complete all preparatory work and arrive at the exam with a clear plan and confidence in the techniques they intend to use
